Day 1: From Marrakesh Across the Atlas Mountains & Ait Ben Haddou to the Dades Valley

Your unforgettable desert adventure begins in the morning in Marrakesh. You cross the impressive High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco at 2,260 meters. Along the way, breathtaking views, traditional Berber villages, and photo stops at stunning landscapes await you. A highlight of the day is the world-famous Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, which served as a backdrop for films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After a guided tour through this impressive fortress, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert." From there, you follow the famous "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" through the picturesque palm oasis of Skoura, past the fragrant Valley of Roses, and on to the spectacular Dades Gorges, where you’ll spend the night in a charming hotel and enjoy an authentic Moroccan dinner.

Day 3: Sahara – Midelt – Ifrane – Arrival in Fes

After an unforgettable night in the desert, the day starts early — witnessing the sunrise over the dunes is a sight not to be missed. After breakfast, we say goodbye to Merzouga and begin our journey north. Our first stop is Midelt, where we take a break for lunch. We then continue through the expansive cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where, with a bit of luck, you might spot wild Barbary apes. Our route takes us onward to Ifrane, a charming town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture. By evening, we arrive in Fes, where our shared adventure comes to an end — or where your individual onward journey may begin.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga & Sahara Desert Camp

After a hearty breakfast, your adventure continues toward the breathtaking Todra Gorges. Enjoy the majestic scenery, the steep cliffs, and the crystal-clear river — perfect for relaxing or capturing stunning photos. In the afternoon, you’ll reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Now your true Sahara adventure begins: ride a camel deep into the heart of the desert as the setting sun paints the sky in magical colors. Upon arrival at your desert camp, you’ll be warmly welcomed with traditional mint tea. Later, enjoy a delicious Berber dinner and listen to the rhythmic sounds of traditional Tam-Tam drums. Under a spectacular starry sky, you’ll spend the night in comfortable Berber tents.

Note: This travel program can be customized to suit your wishes! You can add an extra night in the desert to spend two nights in the Sahara, allowing for a deeper, more unique experience — including the chance to meet nomadic families who live in the desert and surrounding villages. You also have the option to add extra activities or extend your trip if you wish to explore even more.
The package can be tailored to your choice of hotel category (from standard to luxury) and can be arranged either as a group tour or a private journey exclusively for your group.
