5 Days, 4 Nights: Unforgettable Sahara Desert Adventure
Day 1: From Marrakesh Across the Atlas Mountains and Ait Ben Haddou to the Dades Valley
After a relaxing night in your hotel or traditional riad in Marrakesh, we’ll pick you up directly from your accommodation — and your adventure begins.
Our journey takes you across the stunning High Atlas Mountains, passing picturesque villages and breathtaking landscapes. Along the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, we’ll make several stops so you can take in the incredible views and capture unforgettable photos.
A highlight of the day is the visit to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for world-famous productions like Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Prince of Persia. You’ll have plenty of time to stroll through the historic clay village and explore its unique architecture.
We then continue along the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, traveling through traditional Berber villages and spectacular natural scenery until we reach the beautiful Dades Valley.
Here, a cozy traditional accommodation, a delicious dinner, and well-deserved rest await you after a day full of unforgettable impressions.
Day 3: Sahara Desert – Atlas Mountains – Return to Marrakesh
For those who wish, the day can start early with a magical experience: witnessing the unforgettable sunrise over the Sahara Desert — a breathtaking display of light and silence that brings the dunes to life.
After a relaxed breakfast at the desert camp, we begin our journey back toward Marrakesh. Along the way, we once again cross the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains, offering plenty of opportunities to soak in the dramatic scenery.
We expect to arrive in Marrakesh around 7:30 PM, where you can enjoy a restful night at your hotel or traditional riad.
Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Sahara Desert & Camel Trekking
After breakfast, we continue our journey to the stunning Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most spectacular canyons, with towering cliffs over 300 meters high. After a short exploration of this natural wonder, we head toward the mighty Sahara Desert.
In Merzouga, we switch to camels and begin an unforgettable camel trek across the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi — just as the nomads have done for centuries.
Along the way, we'll pause to witness the breathtaking sunset over the golden sands. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also try sandboarding down the dunes!
Upon arriving at our traditional desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with refreshing Moroccan mint tea and a delicious dinner under the stars. As the night falls, we’ll gather around the campfire for an evening of Berber music and drumming — a magical experience in the heart of the silent Sahara.
Day 4: Guided City Tour of Marrakesh – Discovering Architecture and Culture
After breakfast, your day begins with a guided city tour of Marrakesh (from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
We start at the magnificent Koutoubia Minaret (12th century), often called the sister of the Giralda in Seville, and today considered the city's spiritual heart and most iconic landmark.
Next, we visit the stunning Bahia Palace (16th century), a masterpiece of Arab-Andalusian architecture that reflects the splendor of aristocratic life during the Islamic Middle Ages. Especially impressive is the audience hall with its beautifully carved cedarwood ceiling.
Our tour continues to the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll dive into the lively atmosphere filled with storytellers, musicians, and street performers.

You can add an extra night in the desert, allowing you to spend two nights in the Sahara for a deeper and even more unique experience — including meeting the nomadic families who inhabit the desert and surrounding villages. You also have the option to add extra activities or shorten the tour to just 4 days, depending on your preferences.
